Neena Maini Malhotra

Formerly an ex-managing Editor, Ogaan Media, Neena’s experience with global luxury brands has catapulted her into a position as an honest interpreter of aesthetics, global etiquettes and luxury retail. Her 15+ years career across varied retail media and mindful luxury experiences have motivated her to grow as a luxury business educator and mentor young minds.

As a luxury expert, Neena has played a pivotal role in helping luxury brand management students to launch their luxury brands across various segments, and has well-established links with Burberry, Louis Vuitton, Moschino, Brook Brothers, Peepul, Luxury Lifestyle Weekend, and Jimmy Choo.

Neena believes in sustainable living and has been championing the concept of a circular economy and advocates a more eco-conscious approach in the luxury world.


A certified global etiquettes coach from Sabira Merchant, she also trains diverse professionals on their people packaging skills to get them industry ready. Neena is currently a visiting faculty at some of the country’s leading luxury institutes and also contributes to Luxury Abode’s blogs, reporting on fashion, design and sustainable art.

Falguni Shah

Falguni is a trained  Chartered Accountant with 21 years' industry experience. She has an excellent track record of mentoring entrepreneurs to help them develop strong business plans and find funding through investors or grants.


She is an expert is developing and improving operating processes by leveraging data and analytics, assessing root causes and providing insights to help companies drive strong results. Falguni is also highly experienced as a tutor at prestigious schools and still teaches Luxury and Fashion business at Istituto Marangoni, Pearl Academy, Mumbai where she's been since 2015.

She has worked at Deloitte Haskins & Sells as an Internal Auditor for Banking, Hospitality, and Telecom companies, and therefore has a strong grasp of the financial skills that entrepreneurs need.

As she says ‘Being an entrepreneur is so much more than having a good financial approach. Helen Cooper's School of Luxury brings a different perspective, looking also at the personal characteristics of the individual. Rashmi Sathe

Rashmi Sathe is an artist, fashion designer and educator from Mumbai, India. Indian mythologies, rituals, fictional characters from storybooks, fashion, travels and heroes and villains alike inspire her art and design practice.


She has a Master’s degree in Fine Arts from Hochschule Design and Kunst Luzern and has developed an independent profiled artistic work with engagements in projects in Lucerne and Basel, with exhibitions and interventions. 


Her design practice includes collaborating with designers for illustrations and concept development, including showcasing collections at the New York Fashion Week SS/19, SS/18 and SS/17.

Rashmi has taught at leading art and design colleges including École Intuit Lab, Pearl Academy, ITM IDM and Symbiosis Institute of Design.


As she says 'Teaching has always been an enriching experience for me and I'm looking forward to sharing my knowledge and passion for Indian Luxury with all of our students.'

Riddhima Sayal

Riddhima Sayal’s 10 year journey to becoming a successful entrepreneur in sustainable luxury has been both interesting and challenging.

Originally graduating as a Political Science student at Lady Shri Ram College, Riddhima and her sister Saloni have worked on reimagining and repositioning their family’s business. This has brought about a shift from highly functional tool bags to beautiful hand-crafted items that are bought not only for their designs but also the sustainable and ethical brand Values that drive the way the business operates.

The RISA Bags luxury brand was started in 2012 and has grown rapidly, with distributors in North America, South Africa, New Zealand, and most recently in the UK, keen to stock these stylish but still practical accessories. They are currently available in over 50 stores in North America alone. RISA has also started to experiment with new non-animal ‘leathers’ made from cactus plants and pineapple leaves, to further improve their brand’s sustainability credentials, and even made a move into luxury pets accessories.

As Riddhma says: ‘I believe that sustainability in all forms and aspects of life is the way ahead. As a tutor with the Helen Cooper School of Luxury I will be able to teach the next generation of Luxury entrepreneurs not only how to achieve their goals, but also how to do that whilst putting sustainability at the heart of what they do.’

Shelly Pal

Shelly is luxury enthusiast with twelve years of management experience in Fashion and Luxury Retail.


She has been associated with Gucci since brand opened the first store in India in 2007. During this time, she managed Gucci’s flagship store in Mumbai and was instrumental in setting up and running their second store in the city.


Over the years she has distinguished herself as a leader in Luxury Retail having developed a keen interest in finding creative solutions to increase operational efficiency in the store, while building a work environment conducive to skill enhancement and learning.


Shelly holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the Sydney Graduate School of Management, Australia. She currently lives in Mumbai, India and has transitioned from industry to academia a few years ago.

As Shelly says 'Luxury retail though glamorous and exciting, is in fact a 25-hour a day job. It takes passion and persistence to be dedicated to the retail business. As a tutor, I enjoy mentoring young professionals, helping them acquire the necessary skillset and knowledge to build a career in the luxury industry.'

Shrehya Agarwal

Shrehya is a specialist in personal branding for a Luxury market. She is also an experienced brand consultant and content creator, researching and writing on branding and marketing strategies for luxury brands, with numerous articles published. She holds her Master's Degree in Global Luxury Goods and Services Management from Politecnico Di Milano.


Her past work includes coordinating communication between global luxury Maisons within Richemont, the world’s third-largest luxury conglomerate. In addition to this, she has over 3 years’ work experience in digital marketing and branding building.


She is a regular contributor to digital publications like Luxury Abode and Luxury Network International.


Shrehya also recently delivered her Guest Lecture at FIT New York where she spoke to the aspiring International Business Marketing students on the importance of “Culture in today’s Branding”.
